John Nys

John has been involved in training animals for over 27 years. John started his devotion to training horses from early age. John has won multiple National Championships with his horses and was the Massachusetts National Barrel Horse Rodeo Champion in 2002. John has been competing in agility since 2001 with his first dog, Casey (Miniature Schnauzer). John has since been competing with Blink and Rush (Shetland Sheepdogs) and Trick, his newest addition (Border Collie). John has been an AKC National Championships top ten finalist on 9 occasions and earned over 16 MACH titles respectively with 3 different canine partners. He has also been a consistent finalist at USDAA National/World Agility Championships with all his dogs.

 

John has also been a member American Kennel Club’s World Team 4 times (2010 – Blink and Rush, 2011- Rush, 2012- Rush and 2013 European Open Agility Championships Team member -Rush). John and Rush won the individual Silver Medal in Germany in 2010. John and Rush also won USDAA’s National /World Championships in 2010 and finished in 3rd place in Steeplechase that same year. John has also won the high combined ISC titles on numerous occasions with Casey, Blink and Rush over the years.
